INTEGRATION of Space, to Performer, to Story, to Audience
If the seed of viewpoints is simply to stand in space, what are the implications? To stand, that a person is fully present and awake, enlivened in their own body, in order stand they must have intended to be exactly where they are
; in, that a person is fully present, engaged, and interested in their own mind; space, that a person is fully present in their body and mind in relationship to space and the innate intelligence gained from the experience, interaction and feedback of space. A performer integrated into their space. They are both uniquely distinct from one another and absolutely unified at the same time. When we introduce story into this integration, we must understand that story is created by a series of logics. Logic is drawn from one's ability to observe, notice and follow a train of thought. Waking up our sense of logic, shaking it up a bit, turning it on its head and returning home, allows us to understand story at a much deeper level than just the classical ideas about story. If the performer is in communion with the space, and story emerges in the form of logic derived from space we then begin to integrate the audience into the performers world. And the audience becomes finely tuned to the logic of the performer in space.
